A farmer-led network of people's organizations, non-government organizations and scientists working towards the sustainable use and management of biodiversity through farmers' control of genetic and biological resources, agricultural production and associated knowledge.

Institutional Development and Linkages

MASIPAG has linkages with non-members who are promoters of MASIPAG seeds, technologies and approaches. MASIPAG has also tie-ups with other organizations locally and internationally around its various campaigns. In the international arena, MASIPAG has been strongly collaborated with BIOTHAI, PAN-Indonesia, GRAIN and the Swedish Society for Nature Conservation. Finally MASIPAG has recently joined IFOAM in March 2000 to establish synergy of its efforts to the broader international organic agriculture movement.

Non-member Partners:

MASIPAG has partners that are promoting, adopting the MASIPAG approach or are just using MASIPAG seeds and or technologies but have not or are not interested to be official members of the MASIPAG network.
