The three-day long assembly is aimed to consolidate the vast membership of MASIPAG through various activities such as workshops, farmers' seeds exchange and exhibits where farmers' knowledge and experiences are presented and shared with other farmers and development workers.

The second day marked the organizational discussions for MASIPAG. The three regional coordinators and the national coordinator presented their reports, as well as the treasurer of the Board for the financial aspects of the organization. Accomplishments and trends of the last three years were reviewed which served as bases for the program and strategy recommendations for the succeeding years.

One of the main highlights of the assembly was the election of the new Board of Trustees. As mandated by MASIPAG Constitution and By-Laws, a new set of officers is elected during the General Assembly, the supreme governing body of the organization.
